Later this afternoon, we will begin a phased rollout of out the customer survey. As you’ll recall from our recent tests, we are collecting information regarding our customers’ age, location, type of mobile device and gender. This info enables us to provide even better, more relevant answers and offers to our customers.
Please note that customers must complete the survey, once prompted, to continue using ChaCha.
Here’s how the flow will work: customers who have asked at least 7 questions will receive a prompter in the next few days to take a short, 4-question survey. The prompter is sent as part of the confirmation ad when they ask a question. Once they have completed the survey, they may continue asking questions. Please note that survey responses do not count towards their question limits.
Expeditors: if you receive a survey response, please access the Quick Answers for the customer survey, available on the Quick Answers mode on the Expeditor interface. To see the Quick Answers responses, type in survey (survey). Note that these will be loaded in the system by 4 PM EST.
Here are keyword responses that you might see:
Q1: IMAGIRL, IMAGUY
Q2: WM (Windws Mbl), IP (iPhone), BB (BlckBry), PM (Palm), TRE (Treo), OTW (Othr Phon w/Web), OTNW(Othr Non-Web)
I’m really excited to announce a new ChaCha marketing campaign- the Life With ChaCha Video Contest! As their Mobile BFF, we want to know how ChaCha is part of customer’s lives. Whether it helps them answer the deep and ponderous questions in their lives, or if it helps them remember the phone number to the pizzeria.
We’re offering a grand prize of $5,000, a Sony HD Camera, and a Final Cut Video Editing Suite to a talented filmmaker that best displays how ChaCha has become an integral part of life on the go. We also have a second and third prize of $1,000 and $500. All the details are located on the Life With ChaCha Video Contest Page.
Unfortunately, no ChaCha employees or Guides are eligible to win, but we hope you’ll enjoy the glimpse into how we are part of our customers lives with ChaCha.
Howdy pardners! We’re rearin’ to lauch a campaign that I reckon ya’ll will think is mighty fine! In pertinear two days we’ll be helping Texas tell folks all about the travel possibilities of the Lonestar State.
Just like all ya’ll Specialist/Generalists have seen before, when you receive a question regarding Texas Travel there will be a green bar at the top of the notification window telling you so. These queries will automatically send you to the Travel section of QuickLinks where we have an entire section dedicated to Texas Tourism.
Expeditors - ya’ll may see some questions come in about Texas Travel - categorize those as you normally would. If you see a misspelled variation of the keyword “TXTRAVEL” then tell ‘em they misspelled the keyword but to get back in the saddle and try again!
Come Monday we’ll be kicking off this campaign- stay tuned! Also- I apologize if I got a little carried away with the Texan colloquials- I’m just excited!
We want to make sure you do not encounter system problems:
We recommend that you do not upgrade to the Mozilla Firefox 3.5 browser, it breaks the current ChaCha Guide toolbar. We tested the compatibility with the ChaCha toolbar and found issues. We are working behind the scenes to address these issues and will let you know when it’s safe to download the new browser.
Thought I’d share just a sampling of some of the “compliments” we received over the weekend from some of our “fans.” Thanks for creating the magic for our customers!
Morgyn:
So i use ChaCha so much that i put it in my contacts and gave it a speed dial number. Well a few friends laugh at me for it, until a couple days ago they couldn’t figure out the answer to something…. needless to say they all now have ChaCha in their phone books.
Austin:
I love ChaCha so much! Whoever thought of it is brilliant! It is amazing that they afford to respond to anyone and everyone with such accuracy and speed and they still do it for NO CHARGE! FREE! It is truly amazing. Keep doing your thing guys!
Ryan:
I found Cha Cha the other day… Im in love nuff said.
Holly:
My family will be at eating dinner and we start arguing about random things so I text ChaCha and prove them wrong. It feels so good to be smarter than your parents!!! I love ChaCha!
Please note that the tech team is working to get the system issues addressed and to identify the root cause.
Expeditor Guide are seeing three issues currently:
PAQs not displaying on some queries - hit the refresh button, and they will eventually appear - click expand to see the questions and answers
LuLu questions coming through, even though they are properly formatted - please answer with the tools available, including PAQs. If you cannot answer using those tools you may answer that “LuLu sometimes needs a break, try her again later.”
Intermittent notifications - go into “away” and back into available, and the notifications will flow again.
Thanks for your patience while we resolve these issues!
Quick Answers seem to be the only tricky part of the new Expeditor interface, so we’ve taken a bunch of your questions and tried to answer them in a new Search University tipsheet…. Quick Answers Explained!
We cover how to FIND the Quick Answers, how to Click or Type your way to a Quick Answer, how to answer Jokes, and much more.
The latest addition to the QuickLinks is a new page for Yellow Pages. In an effort to further enable you to provide great answers quickly, the Yellow Pages page utilizes local search that will return business listings straight to the the QuickLinks page.
The local search will assume the Infoseeker’s default ZIP as the area for your search, unless otherwise specified in the search box. So try it today, and increase your answer speed and accuracy with this great new tool!
